The Red Door June Story

Red Door June Coffee & Floral Co. was established in historic Downtown Opelika, Alabama in June 2008.  Our premise is simple; provide the highest quality coffee, espresso, tea and pastry in a warm and inviting atmosphere.

A native of Valley, Alabama and graduate of Opelika High School, owner Rick Lanier returns home with wife Karen to make Red Door June part of historic Downtown Opelika’s resurgence. Rick and Karen are both veterans of the United States Navy, each serving over 20 years.

As the only independent Specialty Coffee retailer in Opelika, Red Door June is committed to providing customers with the finest products and the highest level of customer service.  Our coffee and espresso is served in the Italian tradition, with pastry and desserts prepared fresh every day. We offer lunch selections with a weekday salads, Panini and sandwiches. Each Sunday Red Door June has Sunday Dinner Downtown with traditional southern homemade dishes offered at a reasonable price.
